What is an Environmental Product Declaration?

It's a detailed report that shows exactly what a product is made of and how it affects the environment throughout its entire lifespan. Architects and designers rely on EPDs to specify sustainable materials that earn credits for LEED v4 and other green building ratings.

SECT has an experienced in-house life cycle assessment (LCA) team that manages every aspect of the EPD process, working with you to ensure a smooth, efficient LCA and an accurate EPD. We provide two services as a Programme Operator:

SECT has been a KSA leader in third-party environmental and sustainability verification, certification, auditing, testing, and standard development. SECT has an experienced in-house life cycle assessment (LCA) team that manages every aspect of the EPD process, working with you to ensure a smooth, efficient LCA and an accurate EPD. We provide two services as a Programme Operator:
Development of LCA and EPD. SECT conducts the LCA and generates the EPD report based on the relevant PCR. The EPD is then independently verified by an external third party before it is published.
Verification of the EPD. If you have already done an LCA, SECT can analyze it critically and provide a template for the EPD. SECT will compare the EPD to the LCA report and the designated PCR.
